Event Description

Tenure of local governments in KP has been expired in August, 2019 and under article 140 (A) and Section (4) 219 of Election Act 2017, holding of elections within 120 days after expiry of tenure of local bodies in the province (KP) is a constitutional obligation of Election Commission of Pakistan. CPDI and SBRC are planning to arrange a media briefing and demand for timely local government elections in KP.
